A somewhat vinous, somewhat cidery expression of Brut Rosé that almost seems like a cross between a Pet Nat and a Bugey-Cerdon-style wine. Watermelon agua fresca, strawberry and bing cherry notes along with a good dose of rose petals and baking spice precede a palate reflective of these aromatics paired with a steely-minerality. Really cool. — 9 years ago

Whoa, Nelly! Wild strawberries, blueberries, stewed cherries and red plum intermingled with black tea and a mesquite-smoked meaty flavor. This wine is all over the place in a good way. Somewhat cidery, somewhat vinous and reminiscent of a fizzy Poulsard (it's 100% Blauer Wildbacher). It's like Bugey-Cerdon goes to Steiermark but keeps things pretty dry. I've had this twice in the last two days, and the first time was noticeably more fizzy than the second. That being said, it was super-enjoyable on both occasions, regardless. — 8 years ago
Can't wait for this to arrive stateside. Sparkling slovenian rose of Refosco. Has the pure delight of Bugey cerdon without the all sugar. (This is for you @jams jerfy) — 9 years ago
Light and balanced Cerdon. Pink colour is lively. Strawberry aftertaste, cream notes at end. — 7 years ago
NV, Caveau du Mont July, Bugey-Cerdon Sparkling. 95% Gamay, 5% Poulsard. More of a rose and a little less sweet than the Botex Bugey. This is really good juice. Light, ripe red fruit with good acidity and only 8% alcohol. A great wine to introduce to my non-wine drinking family and friends. Just a good apertif to start any gathering with. Love me some Bugey! — 8 years ago

Strawberry soda on the nose, reminds me of a drier version of Bugey Cerdon. Singing with Cyprus Grove chèvre. — 7 years ago
