Almost Pinot like! Best Hermitage tasted out of ACT district since Howard was in office! — 11 years ago
Wow! Really fun wine. Still a bit tight. First time seeing green in a white - zesty, ebullient, great for a wine of any age. Blind I would have thought it was less than half its age. — 11 years ago
Beefy, rich sauce tannins. Some coffee and subdued fruit. A touch dusty as well. — 11 years ago
2009 vintage. Still plenty of life ahead of this wine. — 11 years ago
Smooth dry palate, citrus strong throughout and a sweet late taste. Most people at the table would also purchase the wine because of the attractive cartoon label and story on the back. — 13 years ago
Lots of red fruit, strawberries. Light and delicate. — 10 years ago
Peach, apricot honeysuckle and spice. Balanced with weight, acidity and touch of oiliness. Crisp stone fruit backed up by good structure. — 11 years ago
Ok, this is getting silly now. How can a wine costing so little deliver so much seven years down the track? Still plenty of years left in the tank. This type of wine is so delicious and satisfying that you could almost inhale it. — 11 years ago
Definitely not a wine one has every day. A southern Rhone blend not dissimilar to the now defunct Giaconda Aeolia. Aromatic peachy notes with a full unctuous full bodied palate with some residual sweetness. A blend of Marsanne Rousanne and Viognier. Very much a head turner and a WOW wine for me but might be too much for some. 18. This is the 2013 vintage. — 11 years ago
Beautiful cool climate Shiraz, with a smidge of Viognier. The acid is fine but sticks out a touch, other than that this is a spectacular success in this challenging vintage. McKay is a freak of a winemaker. — 12 years ago
Tasted blind in group of winos, including an MW, and we all thought it was a seriously well crafted Chardy of the Burgundian school. Intensely mineral but with nice weight and excellent structure. Yim! — 12 years ago
This just reminds me that a good cool climate Syrah that just really floats my boat. This one had all the hallmarks of a fine grained Canberra example. Brambly, smokey and intense, it's be nicely treated with oak and could do with 5-7 in a cool dark place — 10 years ago
Dense dark red. Not crystal clear, light fining(?). Longish legs.
Rich peppery nose with some sweet oak.
Rich young wine. A lot of spice and fruit flavors covers whole palate but not fully integrated yet. Long finish with lingering fruit and mid weight tannins.
Very nice wine. Will be interesting to see how it ages. — 11 years ago
Pale greenish-yellow colour. Very aromatic. Floral, oranges and nectarines aromas. Palate is full of ripe stonefruits with spices and crisp acids. Starts as slightly sweet, but finish is clean and dry. Very-well balanced wine. Very enjoyable. — 11 years ago
2008 crisp and round, good balance of creaminess and taught acid. Lychee and lemon custard. — 11 years ago
Very nice cab sav, goes down smoothly, hint of bitterness but it's good. — 12 years ago
Made from a blend of centenary Carignan vines and 80yrs old Grenache vines. Very well balanced and elegant. Around €80 at the wine shop. Excellent. — 12 years ago
Delicious, sweet, dessert wine with great body from Brindabella Valley, Australia — 13 years ago

Wonderfully ripe, velvety black currant almost kirsch like fruit, burnt blackberry jam with a touch of vanilla spice. Class follows through on palate and this manages to retain freshness and beautifully pure pastel fruit. — 10 years ago
