2011 - really nice dry 100% mencía - opened up after some time. Palate starts off with blackberry, moves to black cherry, then finishes with cocao, chalkiness. Pairs well with foods. Alvaro Palacios produced wine from Bierzo at a reasonable price ($52 at Barcelona SE) — 11 years ago
