2008 vintage. Stood out at the Cape Mentelle International Cabernet Tasting back in 2011 of the 2008 vintage. Ripe berry fruits with modern oak treatment and that Margaret River herbal trademark. Good concentration and balance with a persistent finish. Impressive. First one since the tasting 5 years ago. Has a great future but in a very good place right now. — 10 years ago

Holy alcohol. First sip its maple syrup and bourbon. Second sip. Alcohol. — 11 years ago
Fantastic sake. Just as good as the creamy pearl sake, though perhaps not as visually impressive, and lacking the extra substance the pearl sake has. If looking for a clear sake, this will meet your needs — 12 years ago
"Black grape, raspberry and cassis hints combine in this delicately sweet Cabernet Sauvignon. It's full bodied character makes it superb with mature cheeses and fine pates." — 12 years ago
Aromatic and complex, definitely not international style — 12 years ago
Japanese Craft beer pure rice malt. Delicate with full mouthfeel, ideal with sushi and izakaya — 13 years ago
First Littorai experience and this is breathtaking. Ted Lemon is a master of the craft! Meyer lemon, preserved papaya and pineapple with notes of honeysuckle, oyster shell, and just starting to take on the nutty, almond goodness of aged chardonnay. I love this! — 9 years ago
Not really wine. But I got it at th wine shop..:: — 9 years ago
Sour funk but a sweetness from the fruit. Almost smells like Alsace Pinot Gris but super light on the palate. Good bubbles still for 2 years in — 10 years ago

This beer is my jam. Just lovely. Light on the palate but a little heavy on the belly with a meal. — 11 years ago
Intense, balanced, complex. This Lopez De Heredia Gran Reserva Vina Tondonia Tempranillo 1994 keeps on getting better year after year. The perfect bottle for today, International Tempranillo Day. Perhaps only God could say if and when there will be another so fine, but she's tight-lipped. Assume that very little of this still exists. — 12 years ago
Sushi dinner out for Brandon's 25th. Happy BD to my #1 son! — 12 years ago

Fantastic nose and Classic Tuscan flavor elements
Illustrates so well why a second label from a great winemaker still has all the wine making craft of a first wine

Wow. Really impressive go at Basque cider from Shacksbury, which has quickly become one of my favorite cider producers in the US. Bone dry, great acid, perfect amount of volatile vinegar-y funk, with a great savory side. Delicious essence of tart, slightly bitter apple. I believe this is actually done in collaboration with a Basque producer using local apple varieties. Definitely captures a very similar character to what I expect from Basque cider. Great stuff. — 9 years ago
