Light tawny colored. Beautifully layered and intense aromas of cranberry, roses, ceder, mushrooms and forest. Feels a little bit like waking up hungover, the tannins and dryness makes for good pairing oppurtunities. Some bitternes evolving om the finish. I would save for 5+ years. — 8 years ago
Så jäkla gott. Mineral, mentol, stall, ceder, blyerts och cassis. Ljuvlig längd i eftersmaken. — 9 years ago

Berry Bros own vintage. They are the oldest distributer in London (possibly the world) dating back to 1698. This Chateauneuf-du-Pape is very delightful! Very soft tannin, pronounced and full body, with dark cherry, ceder, and white pepper characteristics. — 12 years ago

On the nose it's woody, green herbs, and black fruits. Blackberry, black cherry, raisin, ceder, woody. Awesome structure + refreshing acidity. Medium plus tannins. Perfect full bodied wine for me. — 8 years ago
Ceder, leather , spice box and lots of dried cherry and blueberry. Fun. — 9 years ago
Komplex multna löv med paprika och ceder — 9 years ago
Drinking beautifully. Nose full of cassis, deep raspberry, ceder and cocoa, soft and almost fully integrated tannins, hint of mushroom and clay on the palate, still with zippy acidity, medium finish. I wouldn't caller for more than a couple more years. — 9 years ago
Ruby red lightly colored like last week's Volnay; elegantly perfumed nose of red fruits like straw- and raspberries and some lingonberries, spices and fresh cut ceder wood; quite light but round and delicious around the palate, very fine tannins, and a high acid - dominated finish. Delicious! — 10 years ago
Amazing ceder scent, earthy notes, crazy intensive and creamy mid palate, nice and soft tannins, could be longer...but overall an amazing wine. — 11 years ago
Pretty deep ruby /garnet core , lightening though not a lot at the edges , very big thick slow legs. Certainly secondary aromas now, ceder , licorice , blackcurrant with a meaty undertone , quite interesting and complex . In the mouth more of the blackcurrant fruit, minty notes also , then the tannins kick in. They are ripe but omnipresent , almost a cocoa powder finish with the drying tannins. The mid palate is slightly hollow and lacks a bit of charm. This is a big wine though the acidity is balancing I'm not sure those tannins will ever be resolved. It doesn't come as 'new world' you would think it could be a left bank Bordeaux , a St Estephe perhaps, though the sweeter tannins and slightly alcoholic kick give away another origin. Coming back to this , I think there will probably be limited upside , the wine appear too hollow to really improve. So drink now and over the next 3 years . — 8 years ago

Ceder, kanel, tobak, stygga körsbär. Fortfarande en baby. Bra jävla fart i tanninerna. Ge det 5-10 år till. — 9 years ago

Muratie Ansela Van De Caab. Tanniner o syra i perfekt balans. Detta blir inte bättre. Det är nästan sorgligt, när jag förstår att vi inte ses igen. Du har varit så jäkla bra, aldrig svikit. Nu letar vi efter yngre förmågor. — 11 years ago

Put a bunch of these in the cellar; drinkable now but lots of potential. Dark and red fruits, sweet spices, pepper, some fleshiness, ceder notes, some tight teeth-coating tannins and a long satisfying finish — 7 years ago
