Soft cedar and strap leather. Classic Pauillac element — 10 years ago
Spicy, liquorice plums, wrapped up in cedar wood. Very long finish. Top notch. — 12 years ago
Incredibly intoxicating nose. Classic style Rioja that will only get better. Vibrant sour cherry with tobacco. Hints of cedar. Medium plus to long finish. Delicious!! — 14 years ago
Delicate nose with dry red fruit, hint of cedar and mineral. Red currant, dark raspberry or boysenberry, cranberry, light granite mineral, smooth tannin remains but in balance with all other elements. — 8 years ago
This is really coming along nicely since I first had it in 08. Smooth. The secondary cedar and tobacco are staring to come in. Good balance and structure. — 11 years ago
Tasted blind. Tawny color, translucent with amber rims. Notes of black cherry, cedar, some spice and a little barnyard floor. Sweet fruit in the mouth, with tannins fully resolved. Guessed 1955 Calon Segur. Perfect looking bottle, the cork revealed this bottle was reconditioned by the Chateau in 2000. — 8 years ago
Where to begin. We ordered a bottle of 1982 Heitz Bella Oaks, which was corked. It was also their only bottle. We went back to the well and decided on this '83 Dunn HM, and we're not disappointed. All of the red fruit and cedar you expect, but tons of mint and cocoa as well. Really solid bottle. One of my top 5. — 10 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of 54% Cab Sauv, 34% Merlot & 12% Cab Franc. Deep Ruby with aromas of pronounced dark fruits, sweet spice, floral and herb notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, blueberry and plum with notes of cacao, cedar and subtle herb spice. Well balanced with acidity, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cedar and earthy mineral character. Nice! — 5 years ago
