Fruity, medium bodied, easy to drink. Pairs well with meat and cheese.

A real treat enjoyed down the hill from Clos Vougeot. Have not been able to find in the US for a repeat experience. — 6 years ago
Good herb aroma and concentration. Later on Strawberry. 3 hours, Splendid, mix fruity flavor including plum, tropical fruits. I felt the same before when I tasted grand cru in Bourgogne. 2016 @2730, Kping - , 211020-211126 — 4 years ago
Surprisingly good, and as clearly northern Rhone syrah as any wine can be. It has the strong fruit and the floral complexity, but remains smooth on the palette and well balanced. — 5 years ago
I decided to revisit a bottle that was the winner of our horizontal tasting of MSD 2016 village (10 producers tasted blind by 10 participants). And once again this is a hit for a village. Lots of complexity, licorice, spices and red fruits... more than satisfactory length for this level of appellation. — 6 years ago
Draws a fine line between concentration, grace, and structure. The black cherry and pomegranate fruit is deep, mixing ripe with a touch kirsch. Classic NSG savory notes come through but framed by an alluring floral side. Game, iron, hung meat, licorice, floral pastille, sandalwood and cedar. The fruits richness shines up front on the palate, and he wine departs with a compact mineral touch and very fine tannin. This packs a lot of length, complexity, and balance for a village wine with purity that really helps it punch above its weight. — 6 years ago
As good as last time. I confirm. And there's pepper. Very herbal. Somewhere at the top of my list. — 6 years ago
