This was a by-the-glass favorite at the Loire property where we stayed. Biodynamic Pinot d’Aunis. Lots of wild red berries complicated by earthy, peppery and floral tones — 7 months ago
Nicely aged blend, enjoyed in 2025.
Syrah most prevalent, opened up well once allowed to breathe. — 9 months ago

Winery Notes:
"The 1990 Vintage is a blend of 17 different Crus, all classified as Grands and Premiers Crus.
Black grapes make up two thirds of the blend: 56% Pinot Noir, from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne, and 11% Meunier, from the Premiers Crus in the west of the Montagne de Reims.
The blend is completed with 33% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and, to a lesser extent, from the Montagne de Reims." — 5 years ago

Blackcurrant and leather notes. Very savoury on the palate - a little disappointing to be honest. See previous Delectable note. I haven’t had a lot of experience with Cornas and was looking forward to this because of its stellar reputation. I have a reasonable collection of Clape Cornas in my cellar which are not ready to drink yet. To be honest this was a bit underwhelming compared to many stellar Shiraz we are lucky enough to have in Australia. Hopefully the Clape, the Rostaing and the Jamet with time in my cellar will be impressive. — 4 months ago

Earthy, light tannin, rich berry, leather — 4 years ago
Not quite as yeasty as a rose champagne but quite lovely to celebrate an anniversary — 5 years ago
Lime, peach, cantaloupe, wet rock on the nose. Grapefruit, lime, honeycomb, peach, minerals with medium+ acidity on the palate. Good example of the rich, ripe fruit as well as acidity and freshness this varietal can offer. Great value and super drinkable. — 5 years ago

Love this wine. Lots of cassis and even notes of chocolate. Smooth, easy to drink. — 5 years ago
Incredible Traditional Brut! I really enjoy extra dry cava and while this is from France not Spain I’ll be buying it again. If the bubbles were smaller I would definitely give it a 10! It’s dry but has a long finish that’s amazing, really well balanced. — 6 years ago
