Another great white for lunch. Crisp and aromatic. Enjoying at Castello di Casole. A beauty in Toscana — 8 years ago
A personal fav for #chianticlassico This wine has rustic cherry color tones, with an oily sheen.
Aromas of damp earth, robust cherry with stems and brambly herbs.
Palate is light chalky cherry, piercing acidity and dusty tannins.
This #wine is always consistent from vintage to vintage. — 9 years ago

Освежающее, хрустящее. Хорошая кислотность. Зелёные яблоки, цитрусовые ноты, лайм, луговые цветы, мёд. — 5 years ago
Nice Pinot Noir, good floral notes and well rounded with good body. — 7 years ago
Great acidity to balance the sweetness. Perfect after dinner wine with desert. — 7 years ago
This is Zingaro Old Vine Zinfandel 2014 from Castello di Amorosa - my new favorite winery!!!!! It is a wonderful spicy zin. Not as good as the iL brigante and yet more expensive, but it is a fantastic zinfandel. And Im not talking white zin - not my kind of wine. I hate it when the waiter doesn’t know the difference...
I digress, this has an amazing spicy chocolate beginning turning into a notes of oak and gravel. The finish is long and tart like that of a sour apple yet more on the blackberry dark currant side. It is so delicious!!!!! Give me more, more, more!!!! The difference between this and the IL Brigante is the tart finish. You must have dark chocolate with this one and cheese with the IL Brigante zinfandel. - see previous rating for IL Brigante. — 8 years ago

A superb Siepi, drier than I recall from last one, and more elegantly structured. Dry red fruit and a charred earth character that worked for me. Drink or hold. Il Pastaio is one of the rare Beverly Hills eateries worthy of the hype, and this was a great match for their awesome black truffle pastas. — 6 years ago
CVed 1/26/18. First of three. Nose of red fruits and earth. Palate that's acidic yet silky, good texture and lively. Medium finish. Gordon's $18 good value. Opened 1/12/24! Found in stash, tasting very nicely six years after poke, a record! — 8 years ago
Sept 2017. Opened this after a lighter, fruited red, made this taste harsh. Definitely decant! That would have helped. When I returned to it a day or 2 later I liked it a lot more. Full bodied Tuscan red. Cabernet Sauvignon. Lots of tannin and lots of body. Top Ten wine of the month, July 2017. — 8 years ago
Crazy deep dark Crimson. Savoury and sweet aromas, dried meats and dark fruits. Ripe and clean and balanced. Integrate tight tannin structure, wonderful length. Premium wine — 9 years ago
Sting's wine...bought for 16 bucks as a "what the heck, why not". Year is 2009... The bottle doesn't say which grape varietals are used but I'm going to guess there is a good percentage of merlot (?) as it has a really smooth mouth-feel. I taste blackberry and my husband tastes plum. Really deep purple color — 10 years ago

Nicely balanced tannins and red fruit forward. Also made a great pan sauce with steak and sweet potatoes. — 5 years ago
