Any wine that can shine from a plastic cup deserves extra kudos. Mistook for a Northern nebbiolo with its structure, detail, & balance, but the fruit is pure southern, pomegranate & black currants. Eye opener (esp for 30$ list). Want to re taste in proper stemware. I think 80% nero di trioa 20% montulpiciano — 9 years ago
Very good but not 2010 or 2011. — 10 years ago
Wow. This is great. The mouth feel alone is worth it. — 11 years ago

Dirty old world Montepulciano blend. Drinks like Rioja used to in the 90s. Lots of charm and quality here. Medium bodied and easy to put down. — 9 years ago
I LOVE aglianico. Slightly obsessed. Earth and tannins. — 10 years ago
Very unique wine that starts with a grapefruit zing and ends with a dry, cool finish. Never had this before, pretty cool stuff — 10 years ago

Forget contemporary Marsala. Here is the closest, modern relative of the ancestral wine made in Marsala wine region, the Perpetuum. Stellar. — 12 years ago
