Excellent Flavor and aroma

Caramel brittle on the nose, very light at first and explodes into a crescendo of subtle flavours -- vanilla and spice. Long and complicated finish. The taste just seems to grow infinitely after you've swallowed. — 11 years ago

This was one of the last bottles produced. An exceptionally great tasting scotch to enjoy with exceptionally great friends. — 11 years ago
Had this 49 with 55, 56, 59, 68 and 70 with Kermit Lynch and John Tilson amongst others. The company speaks for itself alone as the provenance was perfect. Neck fills and cellared at 50 degrees for decades. Remarkable experience as the wines all showed primary fruit with dark rims and soft melted silky tannins that had real grip. The acid balance was near perfect front to back and these old Inglenooks really showcase that CA wines can age so beautifully when made right. What a testament and treat for us all that night. — 11 years ago

Wow. The punch of a Dolph Lundgren... but the elegance of an F. Murray Abraham. — 11 years ago

For a red 2015 which I presume is a blend, this is very pleasing to my pallet. I love spicy, bold reds. I'll rate it higher if it's a decent price. — 9 years ago
