Anfore favolose, da far invidia agli chateneuf di Pape. Grandi spezie, pepe nero, more, mirtilli ma non marmellatosi, freschi e piacevoli, elegantissimo, fine con un buon corpo, lungo e piacevole al palato. Very drinkable. A nice medium body, smooth, not overly fruity or sweet. — 3 years ago
Impressive freshness considering the varietal and provenance, with a good energy, concentrated and lively primary fruit, backed by a floral move, followed by herbs and a stony, background. Good structure and energy throughout a balanced palate, defined and fine knitted tannins, ripe but fresh fruit with a savoury texture, marks its territory well, but falls a bit short on the finish. 8.9 — 6 years ago

I can say with confidence that this is one of the best wines I have ever tastes. — 12 years ago
Nice, took 20 mins to open, smooth mouth and finish, not over the top on unfermented sugars. Not really a dry wine though. Enjoying without food. — 4 years ago
Thank you Luca in Italy for having us fly this one back. Great flavors makes us want to be back! — 6 years ago

This wine is striking to look at. The color is a strident yellow, almost the shade of an amber ale. The nose brings a huge note of dried apricots, almost a sugary sense. There is also a nuttiness to the sniff. On the palate, a mix of apricot and Meyer lemon present one of the more unusual flavor profiles I’ve had recently in a wine. Salinity is high, acidity is fresh, but not sharp. It is quite an exceptional wine, if maybe just not for everyone. At the very least, it’s an opportunity to mark the Ansonica grape on your Century Club list. — 7 days ago
