Big violet bouquet from this swarthy suitor. Ripe blackberry, cassis and eucalyptus and cinnamon-allspice plum follow. Black cherry, black plum, tobacco, cedar and cherrywood on the palate. This one's rich, so definitely overdo it. β 11 years ago

Citrus and fruit. Had with deep fried calamari and shrimps, definitely balanced them. β 11 years ago
This Sicilian Grillo has a soapy, earthy nose that leaps from the glass, obscuring the mango and apricot fruit aromas. It is uncompromisingly mineral-driven. The palate is also full of the earth from which it comes, with a savory salinity that runs through the white wines of the Italian islands. The wine has great structure, with acidity enough to handle most food pairings that come to mind for a white wine. β 11 years ago
Great value, easy drinking red. Cherry flavoured, rounded and spicy! Love it at Β£8 hence the score β 11 years ago
Love this. Doc's has a few magnums left. Today(it was opened yesterday) it's like a mouthful of Blueberry/Blackberry pie. Delicioso. β 12 years ago
