Veeerry friendly Shiraz at this price. Cherry up front, red apple tobacco, good structure and a frenchman's even hand taming those tannins. — 8 years ago
Voluptuous yet very well balanced - excellent. — 8 years ago
Compote, unfiltered, can be drank alone or with food, sweet smokey aromas, smooth. — 8 years ago
Creamy oak.... Very nice — 9 years ago
Fresh lemon juice and limoncella, orange blossom and candied lime zest with semi honey-like characteristics. Mouth waterinh acidity, so clean and pure. — 9 years ago
Savoury and rounded Riesling but still dry acidity. — 10 years ago
With its heavyweight tannins and white pepper punch, this is more Gigondas than CNdP. Surprisingly bright fruit despite the vintage. Needs air now and a couple more years might see it improve. A nice drop. — 10 years ago
Meursault? This is awesome — 11 years ago
Great with baked Brie with rosemary and thyme! — 11 years ago
Very well made wine. Med body, rounded. — 7 years ago
Plenty of flinty minerality and acid, maybe lacking a smidge of fruit flavour? — 8 years ago
Won the Trophy for Best Shiraz at the National Wine Show 2012. Fruit from the Gundagai region and starting to put this region on the map. Peppery red fruits and starting to develop some leather notes at 7 years. A nice counterpoint to the lush Barossa styles showing the versatility of Shiraz. — 8 years ago
Ripe pear and delicate floral/musk aromas. The palate has pear and white peach fruits ripened to perfection with perfect acidity, tightly wound, ensuring a long cellaring life.

2014 vintage.
Dried cherries and cranberries, dried violets, white pepper, dried smoked meats, char, graphite.
Astounding savoury drinker.
Needs another year or two to fully develop. — 10 years ago
Not bad.
Peppery and berry-ry
Had the 2010 vintage. — 10 years ago
Well this really is an unusual beast. Much darker in colour than expected, very much looking like a rosé. Completely dry and savoury. Structural. Needs food, but I'm not quite sure what. Very interesting and well made, but perhaps not one I'd choose again. Edit: Revisiting on the second day and liking it a lot more. Reminds me more of a dry cocktail than a wine. Great aperitif. — 7 years ago
Heard great things about this value shiraz and didnt dissapoint. It is really quality shiraz and it is like baby canokilla. Good fragrant with dark berry and subtle minerality. The tannin is fine and quite a complex wine. Real good value for money — 8 years ago
Very nice @Ben Blumson. Thanks — 8 years ago
Very old but very delicious — 9 years ago
Plummy:plum skin/leafy aromas. Soft silky tannins with the dreaded "smooth " descriptor, but it really was! Sweet and soft. Drink soon. 2009 vintage. — 9 years ago
Light. Good with ribs. — 9 years ago
Lots of red fruit, strawberries. Light and delicate. — 10 years ago
Definitely not a wine one has every day. A southern Rhone blend not dissimilar to the now defunct Giaconda Aeolia. Aromatic peachy notes with a full unctuous full bodied palate with some residual sweetness. A blend of Marsanne Rousanne and Viognier. Very much a head turner and a WOW wine for me but might be too much for some. 18. This is the 2013 vintage. — 10 years ago
Tumbarumba Chardonnays — 11 years ago
Very nice cab sav, goes down smoothly, hint of bitterness but it's good. — 11 years ago
Bob McDonald
Typical Shiraz/Viognier Blend of the Canberra District without the oomph of the benchmark Clonakilla. Strong white pepper and brambley notes. Pepper and Spice on the medium weight palate. Good drinking and may be peak drinking at 5 years of age. Like this style a lot. — 7 years ago
