Wow, this blew me away. I'm not usually a white wine drinker, but this could totally change me. THE wine for grains. This was amazing with brown rice and barley topped with curried butternut squash and apple bisque and roasted chickpeas in tandoori spices. And extremely drinkable on its own, too. One of the two single-vineyard Leda wines, together with Vinha da Ribeira, made only in 2004. Lush with indistinguishable Ferreirinha aromas and very smooth tannins, the wine, maybe due to the vineyards' southern exposure, has started to become slightly inky and tired. Gostamos muito. Ótima recomebdação do cara do Chelsea Market. Tem tudo o que eu gosto: frutas vermelhas, baunilha, madeira... O Daniel sentiu coco, mas porque confundiu com couro (nota: lembrar de avaliar no começo, não no final da garrafa) É intenso, mas não pesadão. Encorpado, mas sem aquela presença excessiva de alcool. Grapes from this wineyard in Cariano -- named after horse Titari -- are of high enough quality to make this blend (60% Corvina, 30% Rondinella, and rest Sangiovese) only some years. Production is only 3000 bottles and price is around 80 USD (750 SEK). Super rich and elegant; did not go well with a beef tenderloin meal as it was too powerful and interesting. — 11 years ago
