Was looking for something that would be pleasing to everyone. Soft tannins made this very smooth for leisure drinking.
Slightly sweet. Ripened dark fruit, complex on the nose. Delicious! — 9 years ago

Got this when it was on sale. Medium bodied, semi-dry, fruity taste. Very good for a leisure afternoon drink.

Great funky, natural Grenache. @Caleb Pietrafesa & @Reed Boehringer you would dig this — 9 years ago
Totally biased with this one- it's a personal blend. And I think we did an excellent job! — 10 years ago

Andrea Caleb produces some excellent natural wines in southern France. This Grenache is one of them we really enjoy. $22-$23 at Natural Wine Co in Brooklyn. — 9 years ago
Holy shit! I love this kind of savory, floral, aromatic, complex wine! Thank you @Caleb ganzer for this amazing suggestion. — 9 years ago
Thanks @Caleb Ganzer. — 9 years ago
Highly structured but Delicious effort. Lots of structure, but with time on the glass or decanter, this is a very good wine. Give it some time and enjoy at your leisure. Tasty, but stout. — 9 years ago
I had a hate-hate relationship with Grenache for a long time (alcohol, lack of acid, lots of high-extraction style winemaking), but this is one of the wines that turned me around on the variety when @Caleb Ganzer served me a bottle a few years ago. Red fruited, meaty, peppery, with plenty of red flower perfume. This is clean, low-intervention winemaking, with only a little appealing pinch of VA. There's a slightly chubby texture, but trim acid keeps the wine moving forward. Somehow this wine would appeal to the Burgundy drinker, as well as the California Pinot drinker, and you know, people who like Grenache. A screaming deal at $25-ish. — 10 years ago
Reed Boehringer
herbal, earthy Pinot. light bodied and drinkable, strong notes of dried dark fruit, fresh pepper and brettanomyces. great value. @Caleb Pietrafesa you would like this... same people as Elk Cove — 8 years ago
