Definitely smell and taste green apple 🍏 yum! Served it with fresh baked salmon and Caesar salad. Just great flavor from start to finish. — 7 years ago
Really enjoyable with our Caesar Salad. Super leesy medium to medium low acid but worked well with food. Citrus notes poached apple and pears. — 8 years ago
VERY peppery. Loved it - but would probably prefer to have it with Caesar salad or steak, not on its own, because of the heavy pepper. — 9 years ago
Paired with Caesar salad, NY strip, green beans, & mashed potatoes. Easy to drink, with some body. — 9 years ago
Drank with Maine lobster and crab Caesar salad at opera house. — 9 years ago
Deep color and rich fruit depth, but with a centered acidity. Surprisingly earthy nose. A food wine that allowed for the great Caesar salad here. Puglia. — 9 years ago
Golden light hue, light fresh bouquet, solid lead-in, citrus, pear, grapefruit, balanced acidity. Tart finish. Great with a Caesar. — 5 years ago
If someone asked me about ‘minerality’ in wine, I’d give them this bottle. Aroma and palate are both dominated by wet stones, petrichor, smoke, and an earthy metallic quality. Aroma is rounded out with pear and cream notes, a sweet breadiness (animal crackers?), and the mouthfeel is relatively full-bodied with a touch of alcohol warmth. Reminiscent of an un-oaked Chardonnay just with a huge punch of minerality. Stood up well to some Cacio e Pepe and Caesar salad. — 7 years ago
Caesar from Houston showed me. Haven't tried. — 8 years ago
The 2013 vintage, so, so smooth! With pepper steak in cognac cream sauce, Caesar salad. A wonderful complement. 6.4.16. — 9 years ago
Not usually a chardonnay fan, but enjoyed this for its lack of oakiness. Reminds me of an apricot pastry- buttery and citrusy, but I didn't find it real sweet at all. It paired well with creamy, caesar, peppery flavors. — 9 years ago
Wonderfully balanced offering from Picket Fence Vineyards. The bouquet produced subtle dark berry and as the wine breathed it tasted sweet with notes of vanilla and warm summer berries on the finish. Had an amazing night sharing this over dinner with a good friend and will definitely be picking up another bottle soon. Paired with steak, sautéed mushrooms and a Caesar salad. Bought at Two Guys in Statesboro for $15.99. Great bottle for under $20. Cheers! — 10 years ago

Julius Caesar drank Barolo wine from La Morra and liked it enough to mention it in his memoirs. — 8 years ago
Enjoying it with a kale Caesar salad at the winery. Don't find that it went well with the strong garlicky flavour of the salad - both are delicious but it just couldn't hold up to the creamy garlic. A darker colour than most roses, but with a very pleasant, light berry flavour. — 9 years ago
An incredibly golden hue is a delight to look at, but quit looking and pour. The nose is great, full of minerals and citrus and an earthy, lanolin sense that underlies it all. The palate is a tad tart, full of apples and lemons. An earthy streak rides from the front to the finish and the acidity is very refreshing and the mouthfeel is full and round. This is a great Caesar salad wine, or with pasta primavera.

A lovely light, crisp white--reminds me of a good Pinot Grigio, a hint of lemon peel in the nose, a bit of minerality good acid balance on the palate, paired nicely with Caesar salad and bruschetta. — 9 years ago
