Tasty stuff! This is a barrel sample of the soon-to-be-bottled 2017 vintage; their 3rd release of this very naked Sangiovese expression. Short maceration and ageing a year steel (+2 months in used Barriques prior to bottling). Aromatic, herbaceous and cherry scented with ditto flavours and juicy acidity; this has “drinkability” written all over it! — 6 years ago
