Burgess Cellars

Napa Valley Syrah 2011

Color is dark ruby, with a burgundy/ purple rim.

Intense nose of vanilla, smoke, blackberries, blueberries, cedar, raspberry jam, leather, cherries, toast, metals, clove and black pepper.

Full bodied and elegant with medium acidity, balanced and smooth with long legs.

Bone dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, blueberries, cranberries, vanilla, cherries, toasted, oak, tobacco, dark chocolate, licorice, mint and herbs.

Long finish with full, smooth tannins and peppercorn.

A Great sipping wine. I enjoyed it by itself. Balanced, Complex and delicious.

Burgess Vineyards Riesling 2014

Lots of tropical lush fruits on the nose. A juicy mango and peach make this such an inviting wine. A true semi-sweet makes this a joy as a dry wine drinker. Enough sweetness to pair with a nice sharp cheese platter. — 9 years ago

Estate Vineyards Malbec 2012

I've never had a Malbec from California. Dusty black berry, leather, black pepper. Grippy, but softened up after a 75 minute decant. Could probably age a couple years. — 9 years ago
