Dry. Clean.
Light body. — 9 years ago
Memorial Day BBQ Chard. Excellent. Not a butter ball like most Chards from NorCal, which I prefer. — 10 years ago
Reichsrat von Buhl, riesling auslese Pechstein!
Light auslese; lime with a soft bitter-touch in the end. I'm sure it will improve over time — 10 years ago
Crisp and bone dry. Aaahhh — 12 years ago
Petrol note just beginning to develop. There is a whole lime tree in here too, with notes of the fruit, flower and leaf. Definitely worth cellaring. — 12 years ago
Very good. Fresh, balances nicely between sweet and herbacious. — 13 years ago
Lovely nose, amazing taste. Complex, with acidity, bitterness and fruit in it’s place. Delicious GG — 7 years ago
2012v. Petrol and wax on the nose. On the palette, there's a wash of sweet yellow apple and tangy lemon lime. Slight petrol on the finish but it's a clean ending. Slightly sweet, decent acidity, and a nice body in the mouth makes for a versatile and easy drinking wine. — 9 years ago
Nicely mineral with peach, pineapple and lemon zest! Perfect for a beach day! — 9 years ago
Yeasty stuff, brioche-aromas, fresh, raspberry- and red currants only in the background, almost Champagne-like. Very nice bubbles. — 10 years ago

Next soldier. I love celebrating our troops on Memorial Day. — 8 years ago
Really good, flavorful dry rose — 9 years ago
A bit riper (just a hint of Maracuja & Cassis shining through the nearly completely closed nose) than the Pechstein but still bone dry on the palate. Again a high but super ripe acidity, still needs time to get together. Wouldn't open a bottle the next 5 years. — 10 years ago
The BranJolie wine :-). Memorial day wine 3. — 10 years ago
Ripe stone fruit and honeysuckle. — 11 years ago
Stunning wine. Crisp apples, minerality and a finish that lingers on ....and on... — 11 years ago
Huge surprise for the value. Recommend by our wine guy at Marshall fields (oops....Macy's) in Chicago. Very dry and enjoyable. — 12 years ago
