If you ever see anything from Texas Ale Project (TAP) on store shelves, you shouldn't ask logical questions like 'is this my kind of beer?' or 'do I have enough money in my checking account since I don't get paid until Friday?' or 'is this going to be good in the 180 degree heat index of my car while I make 6 more stops between here and the house?' or 'why do you drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?' (exception: Dallas, where everyone is always parked on driveways, tollways, freeways, parkways, etc). The questions you need to ask are 'how much do they have?', 'can it all fit in my car?', and 'can those other six stops wait until I at least get home and put this all in the beer fridge?'. And then buy a metric ton of it. Or a 4-pack if you have a Smarte car. And then get home and find that the hops are perfectly integrated. Pine, citrus, perfectly balanced. Now there's a third thing to like about Dallas. 100 million angels singing indeed. Well done TAP! — 6 years ago
NV while looking at the worldcup football game Belgium - Tunesië, this is an excellent beer to enjoy. What a treat! Partnered it with paté de campagne & cornichons. #belgianbeer Brewery in Brussels — 7 years ago

One of my favorite NC beers. It's a very balanced beer, and an overall outstanding IPA — 9 years ago

Such purity of peach with the fringes of well balanced sourness. — 6 years ago
This Kingsguard from LIC Beer Project is a DDH New England Style IPA. Rich fruit that gives way to a distinctly bitter finish. Good but not as smooth as some of its peers.

This is Cobra Dawn of the Dank. Last of the four and I hate to admit is the winner over the Dogfish! Poured a hazy DANK amber color into the glass. Nose of citrus and melon, almost kind of smelled like a torqued up Hefeweizen. Great hop structure. Finished really well. Almost as well as a Stone beer. But not quite! LOL, this was still a ridiculously good beer. Great way to start the weekend! — 9 years ago
Upfront lemon with brûléed candy cap mushroom, and a sourness like a gose beer. This wouldn't be for everyone, but went perfectly with our fish tacos. — 9 years ago
This is the Wicked Weed brewery from Ashville, Nc. The beer is the Bedeviled, a Belgian Golden Ale. With a little haze and big body, this reminds me of a Belgian triple. Maybe like St. Martin's. 9% alc. Banana bread toast, ginger and lees. This brewery, which specializes in sours, is top notch. They remind me of Russian River. — 9 years ago
