Had to give this wine I used to buy in many vintages another shot, thanks to the comments from the Gevrey Villages Horizontal organized by @Hanibal

It didn’t disappoint, a slightly earthy nose with spices and wild berries. The wine is delicious, tension in the mid palate with lingering slightly tangy yet still pleasant tannins on the finish. Great price also for this Villages. 90-91

Nez épicé, terreux avec des arômes de cassis et de baies sauvages. Une bouche délicieuse, belle acidité avec des tannins appuyés mais de belle texture malgré une touche asséchante en finale qui est somme toute agréable, peu de GC Villages de ce niveau à ce prix. — 5 years ago
