A little wild. A lot of intensity and a long finish but pretty much all forest floor and underbrush. Interesting. — 7 years ago
Lighter for a Barbera, slightly vivant at first. Much better after breathing for a while. Cranberry, touch of grapefruit, black tea, cherry. — 10 years ago
Truly incredible experience, sharing this with my folks to celebrate my PhD. Amazing nose, unlike any other old wine I've tried. High notes of dried fruits, mulberry, Apple, and low notes of balsa wood, and a long finish. Tannins mostly gone, but acid still holding it together. Exceptionally balanced and very delicious. — 10 years ago
Spectacular bottle! Colors changes from light brown to dark red with complex aromas of fruit, earth and initially some cigar. Beautifully balanced with later aromas of coca! Superb finish with all the prettiness of an RSV! — 5 years ago
2018??? so young...wasn’t that just yesterday? super delicious. a touch vivant, but less than other years. light. fresh. nice acid. juicy mouth feel. yes i would like some more… — 7 years ago

#birthyear murky brickish red. Still plenty of red and cherry fruit with some interesting spice. On the downward path but a few pleasant beverage. I think Dujac buys this RSV land later on. — 10 years ago

1999 LeRoy Romanee St. Vivant. Dinner at Ros w K. Decanted over an hour. Youthful, tons of fruit, lots of acid. Excellent. Truly one of the best burgundies we’ve had. — 8 years ago

Nariz de um Borgonha mais evoluído do que deveria, boca de um frescor que parece de um Borgonha de 10 anos. No final, muito legal — 5 years ago
