This is finally shedding it's tannin. Took a little while for the Brett to blow off but under that was nice dark fruits with some tinderbox aromas and smoke. A more primal Latour, but still a great Pauillac. — 11 years ago
Body medium +, Brett, menthol, pepper, strawberry, cherry, earthy, oak. A bit "hot". Bottle is atypical. You can't see content. Great with beef deli. Grown at high altitude. 13.5deg. A very pleasant surprise! Don't buy a bottle by its label. — 10 years ago
Floral aromatics with some notes of anise and currant. A little Brett on the palate- but integrated. Cherry cord on the finish with some beautiful tannins. Drink now. — 11 years ago
2006. Just getting into gear with plenty of time to go. A good bottle with no brett, great structure and lovely balance with the acidity providing the scaffolding for the fruit. Great with a soy sauce and bourbon- marinaded flank steak. — 11 years ago
Lots of brett for one hour. Then super depth with lots of graphite. Still a lot of fruit. — 11 years ago

Youngest Raffault I've ever tasted. Classic expression with a very slight Brett note but wound up very tight. Decant, decant, decant or wait. — 10 years ago
