Perfect for mimosas & summer sangrias 🍾 — 8 years ago
Big, big Petite Syrah! Loads of dark fruit and tannins. Really opened up after an hour in a decanter. Paired perfectly with brined, cold-smoked then petite Syrah braised beef short ribs ala Michael Chiarello Bottega style over polenta. This was a fun wine find while tasting Odette Cabernet. — 9 years ago
2009 at Bottega in Yountville with Carmen Policy. Awesome! — 9 years ago
Massive fan of this. Definitely needs some fat and rich flavors for pairing. — 9 years ago
This one wins today's award for most gaudy label. Wine was pretty good though! — 9 years ago
Good with lamb, had at Bottega in Yountville. Good bite and smokiness. Paired well with juicy and sweet meats. — 10 years ago
Can't go wrong with a Chiarello wine when at Bottega in Yountville - pairs well with Italian but stands alone as well. Looking forward to 2 bottles of '05 that we have at home! — 7 years ago

Very nice. 2010 was a good year. But not as good as 1995, when I proposed to Shannon at Bottega. — 8 years ago

One of the best I've had. — 9 years ago
This is the Bottega Valdobbiadene Proseco I mentioned in my earlier post. I had a glass of this at Tavernetta del Battistero Ristorante. Apparently, this Proseco you cannot find/buy in any local shops. According to the manager, it can only be purchased from the winery in a region north of Florence and he buys 50 cases of it at a time. Delicious. Might go back to buy a whole bottle before we leave. — 9 years ago
Needs a good hour or so of breathing. — 9 years ago
The best wine I've had in ages. It's from Lidl! — 10 years ago
Smooth, suave with a hint of grandeur. Newcomers and seasoned veterans will welcome this wine with open arms. When in Rome.. — 11 years ago
Really enjoyed this wine. — 8 years ago
Excellent addition to the veal pasta tonight at Bottega. Ordered a bottle for myself and the 4 girls with me and drank the majority to myself. Win-win-win-win. — 9 years ago
Ten euros at a small grocery on Giudecca in Venice. Nice but possibly overpriced. — 9 years ago
