Really clean with ethereal fruit. Unbelievable for 1964. — 10 years ago
High tannins and acidity. Earthy. Needed to be decanted hours before drinking. Lovely pairing with dark chocolate strawberries. — 11 years ago
Great entry level nebbiolo. One of the most transparent expressions for Langhe. — 11 years ago

Good notes of leather and chewy raisins on the first sniff. Once it hits the tongue the leather is still there with some dark chocolate and pepper. Very firm tannins and good structure. This one is a keeper. — 10 years ago
One of the best vintage I've ever had, mushroom and great fruit. — 10 years ago
The 2008 Fratelli Serio and Battista Borgogno Nebbiolo d'Alba is a really tasty treat. 100% Nebbiolo, mainly from Diano D'Alba, it has a pretty ruby color and a nice smoky aroma. You'll get a mouthful of spice and raspberries upon tasting it. Definitely fruitier than most of the classic Piedmont varietals, this wine still obviously has years to mature and turn into something really special. — 11 years ago
Luscious now. Better in 5 years. — 11 years ago
