Interesting to taste. It reminds of some PiWi varieties. Less pleasant to drink and to enjoy. — 6 months ago
Soft brown in color. Toasted notes with dried fruit, soft plum, tar and some high toned acidity. A slightly austere palate but a haunting fragrant quality. Very pretty. You need to lean in a bit to see the beauty — 7 months ago
Fantastic! Perfect balance. — 8 months ago
Great spiced fruit aromas- like a pot of cherries stewing in mulling spices. Good balance. Also carries that pheromone odor that I pick up in many good Italian wines. — 2 years ago
Goes really well with sesame chicken and noodles. Would probably go well with many chicken dishes. Light, not tannic/acidic. — 4 years ago
Very good. Orange blossom and fusel oil nose. Pear, grapefruit and lime fruit. Crisp mineral finish. Good food wine or entertaining wine. — 6 years ago
Delicious, not too acidic, shockingly yellow — 5 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2022 pours, a deep, ruby/purple color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with moderate staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with a mix of tart and ripe, mostly black with some blue fruits: black berries, plums, black licorice, Alpine herbs and purple flowers and dried earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finishes medium. Overall, this is an impressive Dogliani and I’d gladly take more of this in my life. Drink now. — 6 months ago
Dense and masculine. Broad white thick fruit. Nice rounded edges. Lacks a little of the complexity of the 67 and 64 but good solid fruit. — 7 months ago

Ruby/ brick in color with medium intensity.
Strong nose of red fruits with earth, light vegetables, light wood, tobacco and chocolate notes.
Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, spices, peppercorn, light wood, chocolates, tobacco, herbs, earth and light vegetables.
Tangy finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 5 year old Barolo from the famous Canubi Vineyard is still a little rigid right now, but already enjoyable. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years, with good potential to become a 94+ point wine.
Wine Advocate 93 points.
Very tasty and a good food wine that will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were only 20% destemmed. Aged for 3 years in large Slavonian oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.

The color of weak coffee with some bottle of the bottom gunk. Va on the nose and light notes of roses and dried fruit. On the palate very pure and lifted. Obviously aged but softening with air and bright and pretty. What a surprise given it’s a centurion. — 7 months ago
2018, pale and earthy color, light but intense, not much complexity but just enough. — 7 months ago
Delicious wine. Nice balance of red and dark fruit with earthy tones. Long finish with well balanced tannins and acid — 10 months ago

One of my favorite regions. Wine was gorgeous. Not overpowering in the least but I did decant for about an hour. — 4 months ago
