100% verdicchio, delicious white, high alcohol content — 5 years ago
100% Sangiovese.
Nose has freshly sliced clementine, crushed black raspberry and wet minerals.
Palate is fresh and lively, citrus, red fruits with light green herbal notes and powdered sugar on the medium finish.
The color is just amazing, translucent ruby on steroids! We can't wait for warmer weather to enjoy this while relaxing outside! — 6 years ago

This is a really good wine but definitely not a crowd pleaser. It starts off with melon and then turns to something like a dry, not-sweet mead. Cool and interesting. — 5 years ago

Fresh entry-level wine from one of Bierzo’s most exciting producers, a blend of Palomino Fino and Doña Blanca from old vines rooted on slate and quartzy soils in a vineyard named Frontairo. Dry, aromas of toast and straw. Citrus, saltiness. Good acidity. — 5 years ago
One of the best Zin’s I’ve ever tasted. A big round smooth mouthfeel with vast layers of flavor and aromatics. I hear the 2016 got a 97 rating from Spec — 6 years ago

Color showed much more youthful than the Sori San Lorenzo, as did the aromatics, more road tar than floral, big, rich, with amazing structure still (suggesting another 10-20+ years of evolution in front of it), long, lingering finish, great Barbaresco!!! — 2 years ago
