Very nice wine. Bright up front with soft tannins after. — 4 years ago
Grape mash, blueberries, licorice. Fennel comes through strong.
Bought this one in February 2019 with a good friend. Busted it out for the premiere of Curb Your Enthusiasm after watching BB3 (Bad Boys For Life). Suffice to say it was a guys night.
The texture is more viscous than normal, smooth, pleasant. Even slight bubbles present. Taking on a flat kombucha flavor.
Blueberries. Rounded sweetness. Good structure.
This one surprised me. Especially the slight natural carbonation and fennel seed bouquet. Hint of mangoes in the mid palate, no joke. — 4 years ago
Yes! That’s was worth opening. Could have sat a long while longer; but delicious now. — 6 years ago

Wonderful old world style with great earth notes. Medium fruit. Slight barnyard, which I like. However it lacks mid palate structure and therefore is ny a great Barolo — 7 years ago
NOSE: anise, vanilla, strawberry and blackberry liqueur
TASTE: bright, medium weight - lots of berries: dried cherries, strawberry, black raspberry, mulberry - a zing of oregano, plus warm baking spices. Strawberry became the dominant fruit flavor as it got more air. I this much better than the last vintage I tried. 90. — 9 months ago

VA but tasty. — 6 years ago
Approachable now, really nice, good fruit, clean, good acid, balanced, grip from tannin. More modern in style. Good value. Tangy. — 6 years ago

A good Chianti for cold weather. Drank this one outside in November and it’s full body kept us warm. Subtle iron notes to start with a smooth finish. — 3 years ago

Picked up this bottle in October at the winery in Chianti. Enjoying it in Arizona for our anniversary. Fantastic wine. Highly recommend it. — 7 years ago

Surprisingly nice for the price point. Very inky dark pour and a bit tight out of the bottle. Opened nicely after an hour to loads of black tea, red berries and leather. Long lingering finish. I'd easily buy this again. — 9 months ago
