Have had the7 year old, the 12 year old, the 18 year but the first time for this 25 year old rum from Nicaragua. Quite dark in colour - probably showing the extra age in oak casks. Sooty caramel aromas that translate to the palate. Resinous and oh so smooth. The palate is so rich the alcohol heat is not apparent with a small block of ice. Love these Flor de Cana Rums - have an 18 year left in the cellar for the upcoming winter. — 5 years ago

Full body; heavy, firm tannins; and medium-high acidity. Robust, deep, and complex (especially after 13 years in the bottle). Rounds out as it opens up.
