Malo, butter, minerality, orchard fruit.
Really pretty Burgundian style chard.
Just ripe green fruit. Crisp. Tantalizing. Mineral.
Long finish on the fruit. Would be nice to lay down. — 3 months ago

Slight oak. Aged. Matured black fruits. Good concentration. Balanced! CP good. Terrazas de Los Andes High Altitude Vineyards Malbec Reserva 17 @1800, Ambassador, 250612 — 4 months ago
2020 vintage. Lean and mean with plenty of palate thrust and a bit of evident craft. Gets down to $15.50 a bottle resto cost on 3 cases. This is from the Château Léoville-Poyferré group. Tough to say "no" at that price. Not the biggest Malbec fan as I usually find it too one-dimensional and drunken Godzilla....er...plodding. 15% ABV. Keeping in the notes tho...04.12.25. — 6 months ago
A robust muscular but nicely balanced style that showed well after all the older leaner wines we’d been sharing. Fung likes it a lot. — 10 months ago
Dry left bank Bordeaux style blend from Chile. Dry, and tannic. Not very green at all. One of my faves — 3 years ago

Delicious. Nose of dark fruit and pepper. Cassis, strawberries, low tannin — 4 months ago
2018 vintage. Léoville-Poyferré-involved concern. 73% Malbec 18% Cabernet Sauvignon 5% Petit Verdot 3% Syrah 1% Cab Franc. 100% delicious. Medium/medium-heavy body. Nice balance of grip/zip and sleeko suave. Can hold its own in a street fight now or be the scheduled, 12-round, main event in 2040-your choice. $28.85 resto cost on 3 cases. 14.5% ABV. Definite big red blend value contender. 04.13.25. — 6 months ago
Nothing like a solid Merlot for the holidays — 10 months ago
Massive jammy nose with lots of stewed prunes. Palate is much more restrained and complex. Silky mouthfeel. Still a big wine but a good lick of savoury spice. There is just enough acid and tannin to keep the beast in check. — 4 years ago
