Very Good Shit indeed! This is a big, fruity and bodacious syrah. At 5 years old, it is still tight and needs a healthy aeration to maximize the experience. It is tannic, saturated, and full of plum. It is heady and maybe just a little bit showy, up front, (the finish is definitely strong, but somehow it is slightly narrow in its dimension... perhaps because it needs more time to open). This is definitely fantastic Syrah! — 8 years ago

Delicious wine from Canada. Well balanced, good for the price, notes of dark berries and vanilla. — 7 years ago

Sultry, just a tad on the moodier side but with a bodacious fruitful presence. Drinks like a much more complex full bodied red after being open for a few days. Incredible value for the TJ economizing wine enthusiast. Honedew on the nose with a gentle marzipan finish. Pair with a good white cheese and Miles Davis' Sketches of Spain for an unforgettable trip to wine heaven. — 10 years ago
