Griffin's Lair Vineyard Syrah

This bad boy could age a couple more years of you wanted to...or is drinking awesome right now. Showed best after ask hour decant. Gripping solid tannins, smoked meat and balanced oak.

Unctuous and richly textured with smoked meats, black fruits and toasty oak. In a word, yummy! Drink now - 2020.

meaty, hint of smokey bacon, ripe black fruit on the nose. lush. silky. complex- impeccably balanced. Medium length tannins in line with medium+ acid. This is gorgeous. yay for well made CA Syrah.

This is a highly structured wine. The tannins require some kind of fatty protein. Lots of dark fruit. Will this soften up while it still shows the fruit? Certainly possible considering how relatively young it’s still drinking. I’d hold another few years if you’ve got it.

The aromatics are amazing...irises sweep over your senses as your enjoy your first sip...then the dark fruits gently emerge on your palate, lingering through a completely satisfying finish

Just oozes luxury and elegance. Soft and supple with cherry fruit, baking spice, and game. Weighty, but just caresses the palate. The loamy finish never seems to stop. This is ready to go. Uncork and enjoy.
