Refreshing. Dry. Hint of apples. — 10 years ago
I love it! Only two bottles left in my distributors inventory so I decided to grab one and now I hope the other one is still there. This 65% Krastošija and 35% Vranec blend is full bodied with loads of ripe fruit coupled with a touch of spice. The bottle description suggests wild boar as a pairing. Not having boar readily available I grills two medium rare dry aged ribeyes. May I suggest you do the same. — 10 years ago
Perfect with the wild boar ragu — 10 years ago
Awesome with lamb chops. — 11 years ago
Awesome with boar paparadelle! — 11 years ago
My first Vranec. Wow! A berry explosion in first blush that opens up nicely with peppery, earth stuff, followed by a long silky finish. I had this wine at Promise Land Market (great price points!!) with an oily manchego and wild boar!! Hope to see/taste more of this, soon. Check it out! Decant & turbo twirl, then, if course, consume:) — 12 years ago

This is a fantastic bottle and vintage. Paired wonderfully with wild boar stuffed pasta. — 10 years ago
A full bodied malbec that builds to a great finish with raspberry notes along the way. Not too tannic. Great wine and worth the trek to Leesburg if you're in DC. — 10 years ago
Cherry, tobacco leaf and soil,
Blueberry, black currant, big body, firm elegant tannins, long finish. Beautiful with Boar! — 10 years ago

Spice, moss and earth hover over and around blue berries and cherries..! Groovy splash against some wild boar and manchego bites Saturday mid-afternoon Promise' Land Market, in Morehead City, NC as coastal Spring showers lube the land and Phillip's well-chosen tunage gens the vibe and Janine's sweet smile welcomes the world... Check it out! So. Oool, too right..! Salute... — 11 years ago
2007 Pott St Ralph the Liar and Blackbird Illustration - both very good. Paired with boar osso bucco at hurley's. — 13 years ago
Used part of the bottle to make wild boar stew. Then revisited with the stew. Yum. — 9 years ago
It's fruity and rich--almost as good as Grasparossa with chicken Parm. — 9 years ago
Delicious! — 9 years ago
Exceptionally rich yet nervy, Lohsa 2013 Morellino di Scansano is certainly cut along the local Sangiovese lines of this DOCG but this is cut of a finer woolen and fragrant cloth true to the Poliziano house whose handsome strength comes through in savory spiced cherries and al dente tannins. A wine to serve with wild boar or crispy duck. — 9 years ago
Like a wild boar running through a field of Sagrantino in Umbria. A dense core of blackberry fruit underlies the meaty, savory flavors. Extremely firm but polished. — 10 years ago
2003, brown sugar, cherry fruit, anise, faint Italian herbs, broad and bold, paired with a boar ragu. Ready to drink. — 10 years ago
Awesome once again, especially with Boar and Lamb! Deep and bold, with an amazing finish! — 10 years ago
Fantastic Sauv Blanc from VA! Wow... Grassy and citrusy goodness in this bottle! — 11 years ago
Light and refreshing, very good wine. $44 at butcher and the boar for my bday — 12 years ago
Tanniny, have with fatty meat. Really good with the wild boar ragu we had. — 13 years ago

Light effervescence, alive, moving on the pallette. Bears some similarity to Corniellsen's Contadino but with less Etna smoke. A little boarish (would pair well with a boar stew, manchego cheese) — 8 years ago
