The flavors complement each other well and it is rather smooth for the price. I paid $5.39 for 500ml. It's made in Indianapolis, Indiana. — 10 years ago
This is actually a white made from a red wine grape, all natural wine - no filtering or fining. Funky on the nose, blue cheese, funk apples, apple cider vinegar. — 7 years ago
Funky blue cheese. Bright acid bit of residual sugar. Sticky lemon tarts, apple cider. Little bubble. — 7 years ago
10' Bevan Cellars EE Red Cuvée. I personally enjoy a well-made Cabernet with a "chunk" of Cabernet Franc in it. The older I'm getting the more I'm enjoying CF profile/flavors.
Give this at a minimum an hour decanting.
Color- Purple with dark ruby red edges.
Full bodied. Blue & black fruits pop out, cider, espresso, pipe smoke also. This is why I purchase wine. Nothing truly stands out on this blend. Drink/Hold.
Bevan and Favia are two of my favorites, when it comes to CF blends . at- The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea, Maui — 8 years ago

If you want to test you tolerance for strange wines or you are a wine geek 🤓 this is it. Very much like an oxidized Jura wine made from the savagnin grape but this is Albarin not Albariño! Tastes like a sherry at first. Super nutty and corky but not corked! Kind of like grape cider. Bracing acidity. Drink this by itself and muse over the flavor for hours. Or pair it with stinky cheeses Goat, aged Taleggio a blue cheese etc. . This is not a wine for a dinner party with friends. I actually think cheese screws up our palate but this wine can take it! Bottle 447 of 670 made. An experience but only for the brave. Only available from Max Kogod in the US. — 7 years ago
Reserved nose, very soft effervescence. Great structure and robust, almost meaty palate. Would pair well with blue cheese, mature Brie or salty aperitif. — 8 years ago
Barnyard funk and blue cheese tempered with ripe apple and earth — 9 years ago
Off dry, peachy, sweet apples, 3.5% alcohol, like drinking fun apple juice and would be the best thirst quenching drink after a hike in the Flatirons. If you're not pairing this with a hike up a mountain, have a nice sit down and pair it with 7 year cheddar, Fleur Verte, or caveman blue 🧀🍺 — 9 years ago

Coconut merengue marshmallow clouds descend upon the funky sea. Bee pollen clods crumble beneath its electrical gale filling your nostrils with dreams of orange-blossom honey. Sip the apple cider vinegar and bitter orange, tart cherry and sweet pickle. The funk spirals like a brine funnel into caperberry and a mesmerizing, frizzante grapefruit soda, persimmon, and Blood orange suspended in iodine with pickled peach and clove. One year old and really perfect. — 9 years ago
