Marie Leopold Les Mutines Sec. Beautiful- formal, tiny hint of sweetness with citrus, apricot & mineral. Incredible acidity for 20g/l dosage! Perfect with the foie & roasted apricots that @Gary Westby and @Cindy Westby prepared for the closing crew! Thanks! Beautiful @mariepetitloriot @Michel Loriot ! — 10 years ago
Wonderful Pinot! Lighthearted and slightly dry, very subtle hints of fruit. From the Thermenregion next to Vienna. This was a 2011. — 11 years ago
Nose is similar to a Maryland style, also with Black Tea/Bergamot notes. Nice smooth and slightly sweet finish. — 8 years ago

Very pronounced bright, zingy lime and lemon against a mineral backdrop with wee hint of puckering green apple on the palate. Impressive fruit intensity and bracing acid. Would cellar well. — 10 years ago
Campari lovers rejoice! Remember hanging at Leopold's on S. Main St in AA. I loved their kegs. — 10 years ago
This is Batch 4 of Leopolds' Summer Gin. My new favorite and one I will drink in any season. Blood oranges bring super refreshment on the mid palate and the finish is floral and spruced up with juniper. Perfectly balanced. I already squirreled away a bottle for winter — 8 years ago

Solid, but fell a bit flat compared to the Nightmare on Brett aged in Port barrels. This was Batch 5 from June 2015. — 10 years ago

This is stunning. Tart cherries with a touch of nutmeg. Deeply oxidized but well balanced with its acidity and oaky tannins. Caramel coming through as the initial carbonation subsides. Closest comparison is Cuvée Freddy, and while that beer is great, this is better. Ready to drink right after pouring, and I suspect it will improve with some time and warming. — 8 years ago
