Smooth, not too creamy but a little butterscotch — 5 months ago
Didn't get a chance to take notes, but I loved this wine. — 10 months ago
Impressive wine. Well balanced with dark fruit with sweet vanilla notes — 5 years ago
Always a winner. The Tobin version of a Bordeaux. 5 grapes, all delicious. Combine them together for a masterpiece. A great bottle. — 6 years ago
From CA vineyard royalty. Improves as it warms and with air time. This is a lesson in balance. Not a steely chard full of tropical flavors yet retains its minerality. Not an oak laced butter bomb but merely hints that it saw a minimal amount of oak in it's lifetime. Only 12.2% which is incredibly refreshing in a chard, especially one from a warmer climate. Tragic that 2013 was the last vintage before the chard vines were ripped out of the vineyard. — 7 years ago
A robust berry aroma is enticing and tempting. I savored every sip. I paired this delicious port of the Ol’vine with a confectionery milk chocolate or White chocolate Orange (available at your grocer) during the Christmas holiday. Thanks dear Nick. — 5 months ago

Delicious Jammy Berries, blackberry, spice, wood, vanilla, what a nice nose after sitting in the glass for a while. — 5 years ago
2010 vintage. Great wine, albeit $55. Got in the 2013 club shipment. Complex and smooth. 15% abv. Glad I saved it and am pretty impressed! — 7 years ago
Decent Pinot. Not great. — 7 years ago
Must decant/air for 3+ hrs.
Opens up to a sumptuous wine. Dark plum coloured. Earthen nose. Leather, must, dried violets but with subtle blue berries. Fantastic mouth feel. New world with forward fruits heavy and rich. Vanilla, licorice and cola. Medium plus tannins. Would not pair with rich meat or steak. Hard and semi-hard cheese should be good. — 8 years ago

This is still humming. Still has plenty of dark berry on the palate. — 4 months ago
