Vetifan hur jag lyckades men jag råkade glida in på nån vinprovning med spanska viner??? Doft av ananas, smak av pink grapefruktsfizz — 8 years ago
Had a grass fed tenderloin that spent too much time on the bar-bi in the rain but was still good! — 8 years ago

New Year's Eve starting with a deliciously acidic and tangerine blastoff. Flinty, lemon/lime and aromatic. Couldn't ask for more from a $15 Bi Rite purchase. — 10 years ago
Holy hell. Top of the "KRIEK" charts. 2006 vintage. Quite a bit reminiscent of Flanders Red. Carbonation stays overnight. Pierce the cap carefully, else lose precious juice. — 10 years ago

J'adore.
Beautiful lemon and honeysuckle nose. On the palate petillant lemon, honey, elderflower with hints of white flower and a citrus yeasty finish. Wow! — 10 years ago
Excellent magnum, fun to share! Good amount of barnyard and acrid, cat piss nose balanced out with a soft bubble and medium acidity. A little tight. A close, sparkling cousin to their Luca (Traminette). — 5 years ago

Actually available here in the states, I’ll try someAlthough obviously not filtered, this beer from a very aggressive Boutique Brewery in Italy is pretty darn delicious. Claims to be an IPA although it would fail under American Standards. This is definitely more of a pale wheat or unfiltered Pale Ale, but it's still delicious. The Hop has a slight brett character to it. I am not only getting a little bit of wheat but also a little bit of orange rind. The beer finishes with a little bit of a hop bite. This beer finished a little bit flat in my opinion. Definitely not as torqued up as an IPA from stone or Dogfish Head. I don't know why I was expecting something much darker to come out of the bottle? The aftertaste is really what made me rate this one at 8.9! — 9 years ago

The identification is wrong @Delectable Wine. It’s labeled Oxer Bastegieta Imani Garay “Bi-Xori”. It’s a vaguely Basque-themed blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Tannat, 5% Petit Manseng, 5% Petit Courbu, 2.5% Grenache, and 2.5% Tempranillo, with the grapes coming from Spain and France (for all I know Andorran grapes may even be in there!). It is (obviously) very dark colored. The Tannat is obvious on the nose, with very tree-barky Madiran-type aromas in the fore (brings to mind Bandol too, but there’s no Mourvèdre in this), but under that the Cabernet lurks, showing off Medoc like notes of cassis, violets, and dried underbrush. Loads of crushed stone too. On the palate, the fruit is quite pure and piercing, swept along by crisp acids, but there’s a tannic bite there that gives aggressive structure, though it does not dominate. This is quite unique! Drinking well now, I bet a couple more years would suit it. — 3 years ago
