Surprised by a red zin. So used to white zin that are fruitie that the complex flavor with more of a spicy taste won me over. I am a red zin fan. Light body with a big flavor. — 9 years ago

Pours a thick dark black with almost no head. Chocolate, vanilla, coffee, molasses, and bourbon all playing nicely with each other with no one flavor overpowering the others. A very nice barrel aged stout. — 9 years ago
Still one of my favorites from Paso Robles area. Big Zin from a fun biker themed bar. — 10 years ago
Big Zin if you like big zins. And we do! — 12 years ago
I love zins, this is not a typical zin. If you don't like zins normally then hit this bad boy up. You might change your mind. — 12 years ago
Very good for CA! — 13 years ago

Great zin!! Big and bold, but not as fruity as many zins. Had it with a beef sausage Blue Apron dish. — 9 years ago

Damn, this 2014 vintage is now my favorite WA state Zin, period! Yes, it's hot (16.9%), but Zin is usually hot. This is packed with big, jammy black fruit that eases into sweet leather and peppery notes. This is freaking great!! — 9 years ago
Excellent zin. Big fruit flavor. Nice nose. — 10 years ago
Bold and jammy, everything a good zin should be. Blackberries, blueberries and vanilla with a smooth finish — 10 years ago
Gotta love Ravenswood wines! Not a big zin fan but this is good. Not to dry either — 10 years ago
Big and fruity, but not overly sweet. A nice, full bodied and balanced zin. — 11 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
History begins in 1885, when Osea Perrone, a doctor in San Francisco's Italian community, bought 180 acres near the top of Monte Bello Ridge in the Santa Cruz Mountains. This is 100% Zin! Deep red almost purple. Aromas of cherry fruit and unmistakable Zin spice! In the palate, blackberry and cherry flavors with peppery herb spice integrated with dusty tannins. Lively acidity shows up in the medium finish ending with a big fruit finish. Nice! — 8 years ago
