Gamay pet-nat from Jura? Please and thank you. Luckily it tastes infinitely better than it smells. — 9 years ago
Steve Thompson gave this to me and we opened for Christmas in Lindale. LOVE IT. Very toasty oak and smooth. — 9 years ago

Outstanding. With Joe and Steve Santa Fe — 6 years ago
A great effort and a nice wine but way bigger than this variety should be, Napa is not the place for Mondeuse. Many thanks to Carole and Steve for planting this! — 7 years ago
Another masterstroke from Steve Pannel, beautiful cold climate shiraz, good body, dark berries, touch of soft spice but overall a nice fruit driven shiraz for Australian climates. — 7 years ago
Happy Labor Day, 11.6% and crushing it al fresco for lunch! @Steve Matthiasson — 8 years ago
A very nice Bordeaux blend from Steve Reynolds. Excellent notes of rose petals, cinnamon and earthiness. On the palate I pick up dark and red fruit, spice and rosemary. Very smooth tannins wrapped around a hint of acidity that makes for a very nice mouthfeel and finish. One of our favorite wineries in Napa. @ — 8 years ago
New package. So pretty on a great night at Steve and Jill's — 9 years ago
Wonderful nose of dark fruit, oak and cinnamon. Fantastic tastes of blueberries, blackberries, cassis, baking spices and oak. A bold wine with solid tannins that are still working to put on silk gloves. This is a blend of grapes from all 15 AVA's in Napa back in 2010. Probably has another decade or more in terms of optimal bottle life. Steve Reynold's at his best. — 7 years ago
Old school Napa Cab at its best in the hand of Steve Matthiasson. — 7 years ago
Post laser/fireworks show from the office balcony after the Padres-Yankees game Sat night. Nice balance, good acidity, a lot less over the top than I expected. I'm a fan. Happy 4th @Roman Sukley @Dag Zapatero @Steve Anderson @romo @David A Lentine @Mike Rowe @Jim Trobaugh @Eric Adams @Tj Adams @WC Fields @Kimberly Anderson and even to our brothers across the sea @Lundmark Kvarnstrom @John Van Trijp independence should be celebrated and appreciated every day....celebrate yours with the people and the wine that you love 🇺🇸🍷 — 8 years ago
Fair disclosure, I sell this wine in our wine shop, but there's a good reason @Steve Matthiasson — 9 years ago
We tried to pass a glass to Kobe on Steve Gage's behalf, but they don't let me within 100 feet of him or his ex wife anymore. #newport #notusingthisright — 10 years ago

Light golden color. Probably the most complex nose of any white wine I've ever had. I get meyer lemon, some veggies, metallic elements, and about 10 other things I'm not good enough to pin down. Wine is crisp and balanced with just the amount of tartness I enjoy. Above average finish. This is a wine that is not meant to be figured out but to be enjoyed for its multiple dimensions. Well done Steve! — 6 years ago
