Vintage 2003 - petrol, butterscotch, minerals, great balance combined excellent with Kung Pao chicken #riesling #bernkastel #auslese — 7 years ago
A creamy, sweet nose with notes of juicy peach, citrus, nectarine and honey. Juicy, lush and sweet on the palate. Flavors of sweet, juicy peach and fresh, crisp citrus lead to nuanced notes of spice, honey and cream rounded out by still zest, crisp acidity, even after 10 years in the bottle. The finish is long and sweet but balanced by long, bright acidity creating a wonderfully balanced dessert wine. — 8 years ago
Amazing. Very rich sweet and complex Riesling., with a typical flavor of petroleum. — 9 years ago
£3 in Romanian supermarket. These guys definitely don't know what they're selling! What a gem. What a find! — 9 years ago
Probably the oldest Riesling I've had. Packed with petrolium and some nice acidity. Perfect to fennel — 10 years ago
This is a nice step up from my usual dr h bernkastel kabinett..it is another $10 per bottle ($28 list. .less 10-15% coupon), but four people in blind taste test came to exact same conclusion. Excellent stuff. — 10 years ago

Never had or heard of this producer hit a very fine Spatlese. Very light in colour and a subtle aroma of petrol but a fantastically balanced sweet, acidic and soft wine. Lovely - must find more as was well priced also — 7 years ago
This goes on! It is honeyed from some tasty auslese botrytis yet has the funk of...well not sure where the funk is from but it is there. Maybe some Swiss chard sorta funk. I've no clue if other people would say if that way but the sweet-bitter currents say so much to me. Also I detect marmalade and vegan jerky? So we'll pair with a dessert with some spice. Or salt. Or if you are me you start with a spicy dinner (salsa salsa salsa) and have another glass with dessert (salted chocolate chip cookies). My goodness. As usual with Garagiste wish I had another bottle so I could analyze more days. — 8 years ago

My wife picked this bottle up at the Bernkastel-Kues Christmas Market. Light, with fruity overtones. An immensely drinkable wine that won’t last once opened. — 6 years ago
2015v. Light golden color with a little bit of bubbles clinging to the glass. Mild aroma of honey and ripe pears, yellow apples. That fruit is also on the palette, along with some sweetness and balanced acidity. Classic Mosel, well balanced. 10% ABV. Bought from the winery in Bernkastel. — 8 years ago
Probably the best Riesling Auslese I had so far, outgunning even the notorious JJ Prüm, in my opinion. Only leaving points open for possible surprises in the future. This stuff is amazingly delicious. — 9 years ago
Klasse Kabinett! — 9 years ago
Regret opening this as its just too young but it was enjoyed nonetheless. Purchased in Bernkastel in 2013. — 10 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Nice Golden color with concentrated fruit aromas of ripe berries and sweet honey. On the palate flavors of rich peach, apricot and fig. Vivid acidity, great balance, long finish ending sweet with honeyed fruit, elegant! Nice value! — 6 years ago
