A ~$40 bottle that drinks like an $80 bottle. Good structure, with a solid oak and cassis finish. This is what cab is supposed to taste like. — 7 years ago
Refined silky.....no.... abstract, cunning and wildly spicy. It is everything I expect from extreme farming on the Sonoma coast. I bought this at release and is all that I imagined. — 8 years ago

Skin contact night? Interesting wine. Kinda reminded me of Viognier without the bitterness or extreme aromatic lifts, with the Condrieu-like textures. — 8 years ago
All 3 loved it. Sweet, but not overly — 4 years ago
Still got it. — 5 years ago
Surprisingly complex and nuanced. There is an undeniable floral component to this wine that is quite atypical for Zinfandel. Mineral-laced, spicy, elegant and simply delicious. Aside from a hint of blueberry jam this is in no way your typical Dry Creek Zinfandel. Weight and texture are beautiful. Loving the lavender and violets. Easily the best wine I’ve had from Maple Vineyard. This is Zin! — 7 years ago

This was terrific. 16 years in. Softening. Still holding onto those leathery notes. Good stuff. — 4 years ago
Primarily a Shiraz Rose’. Ripe summer red fruit aromas and flavors. Hints of Rose petals, black pepper and white flowers. Round with good mouthfeel. — 5 years ago
