2nd go round on this guy. A light garnet in color. Very subtle nose. A lighter style Pinot that was very complimentary to our salmon. More of a delightful experience the second time around. — 5 years ago

Incredibly grateful for people like Luke Bass & family, for the wines they make, and for the ethics they adhere to in their farming and vinification. Biodynamiiiite! — 7 years ago
Elegant oaky scent, light body, semi-structured, silky tanning. 2013 vintage. — 8 years ago
Amazing quality for Bass Phillips entry level Pinot Noir. Nose with cherry/damp earth notes. Carrying thru to sour cherry on the palate. Good Pinot by any standards. 2010 vintage. Tasted again 29 January 2016. Notes as above. Always a pleasure to drink a Bass Phillip Pinot even if it is their 4th or 5th best cuvée. — 9 years ago

Half bottles are a delight. A lot more developed than the last encounter, in a very good way. Nougat, nuts and sweet oak spice coming through to complement the rich fruit. Delicious. — 5 years ago
