Beautiful garnet body. Very opulent nose, surprising for a wine of this age. Cedar, cigar and other secondary notes on the nose. This falls apart on the palate though. Good entry but hollow midpalate, medium finish. On the way down. Got a little better as the night went on. — 9 years ago

2011 pure clear lovely expression of the vintage. Not trying to force lots if extraction or new oak. Red fruits and minerals. Not sure it has the complexity for a wine of this
price,.but a really nice drink with lamb stew and noodles. The opposite of some Willamette 2011s that winemakers tried to Force the issue. Day 2 kind of falls apart. More oak on palate and fruit becomes confected. Drink up folks. Day 3 lost all fruit! 🍇😡 — 10 years ago
