Perfect 10 event. Balanced and elegant cabernet that is a bit fruitier than most. 2010 vintage. Would be delicious with food. Drinkable now but can age longer. Has a bit of new European quality. — 8 years ago
Crazy awesome. Tons of black pepper, smoke, tobacco and bacon fat. Luscious dark fruits. Very fruit forward palate. Waaaaaay too young. — 10 years ago
Red blend from Sonoma at The Vine! — 11 years ago
Initially dry, but with a fruity nose. Expected to have a full flavor and finish as the bottle nears the end. — 12 years ago
Classic Napa...delicious — 5 years ago
Time for dessert!!!
The nose shows; white peach, apricots, dry pineapple, Bosc pear, dry tropical melons, marmalade, honey, orange citrus and blossoms, nuts, toffee, banana peel, burnt caramel, brown raw sugar, baguette crust, soft limestone minerals and floral spring flowers.
The body is thick, gluey and rich and has lots of residual sugar. White peach, apricots, dry pineapple, Bosc pear, dry tropical melons, marmalade, honey, orange citrus and blossoms, nuts, toffee, banana peel, burnt caramel, brown raw sugar, baguette crust, soft limestone minerals and spring flowers. The acidity is beautiful, thick and round. The finish is well balanced and elegant with polish on the finish for days.

So beautiful and clear in its purpose, titillating on the nose and fulfilling its promises beyond. Balanced and velvety dark red fruit, hints of black tea and cassis but all in a more Old than New World Gestalt. Lots of secondary stuff emerging you just want to sip it slowly. If anybody wonders how well these age, track one down, it’s so worth it. Kudos @Cathy Corison for making this distinctive and enduring bottle! — 7 years ago
1986 vintage enjoyed October 2015. Seamless, balanced and elegant - green pepper, black pepper, dark berries and a whiff of cedar. — 10 years ago
Delicious wine well balanced. Drinking like an aged first growth Bordeaux — 11 years ago
Really nice. Mostly cab. Good structure and fruit and earth. Generous and tasty! — 7 years ago
A more typical vintage year, this 2004 is balanced, poised, and elegant. Anise, red fruit elements (cherry), black berry; subtle tertiary notes (cooked blackberry, mushroom, wet leaves on a forest floor). Medium acid and silky tannins, the length goes on and on. A deliciously voluptuous beauty. — 7 years ago
Leather and sous bois and one brambles. Lovely and balanced. Still solid. Buy. — 10 years ago
Quite the funk bomb. Needed time to open but when it did it became much softer and even balanced. tasted like a classic older Bordeaux. — 11 years ago
First glass was outstanding. Subsequent glasses were great, but the first sold me hands down. Great bottle from Chimney Rock. — 11 years ago
For all those that love to say, "this California Chardonnay is Burgundian," can check out White Rock. — 12 years ago
