An herbal, floral nose with white flowers and a bitter citrussy thing like yuzu or bergamot orange. That is very peculiar and I like it. It's very subtile and discreet, not in your face at all. The palate is delicate with a first impression on the acid side, but there is more to it, with this citrus thing, a bit of weight on the width with a gentle touch and some roundness, and a fresh and long finish. I like it! It reminds of easy going, simple white German I had which were perfect a bit cooled down on hot summer nights. — 4 years ago

Light charmer with a high acid body that seems infused lemon mash that makes for a cloudy wonderful body. #vinewinenyc — 5 years ago
A delicious Syrah with intense fruit and funk and a bit of spice. Needed a bit of time to open up, but when it did it was unbelievably good. — 7 years ago

Waitrose. Delightful English white. Melon and peach, grassy and zesty freshness to it, slight acidity to cut through things but without lingering. — 4 years ago
As the name suggests, a raspberry bomb. Kinda wipes out any trace of it being a beer even. And arguably it's even more "raspberry" than raspberry juice. I mean its like a concentrate without being overbearing, although I would prefer little more acidity to counteract the sweetness. Wouldn't look for it, but it sure was fun to drink! — 5 years ago
Acidity, fruit, mineral, petrol, light sweetness. Very nice. — 6 years ago
Like this better than my favorite Riesling, does it make this my new favorite? — 7 years ago
Really great trousseau. — 7 years ago
Vibrant lemon, energized acidity, and a quintessential warm Jura nuttiness on the back end (which I don't mind sounding as sexual as it does). Medium bodied and worked well through five of our six courses, including amberjack, gem salad, butternut squash, rigatoni and scallops. I wish I could have written about this while drinking it but the fam has strict PUT UR GOD DAMN PHONE AWAY ROSS! rules (which I agree with). — 8 years ago

The 2016 Long Shadows 'Saggi' is a thrilling blend of Sangiovese (Boushey and Candy Mountain Vineyards) with 29% Cabernet Sauvignon (Weinbau Vineyard) and the remainder Syrah (Den Hoed Dutchman and Bacchus Vineyards). The nose is drop-dead gorgeous with bacon fat, black olive tapenade, mocha and fennel. The stunning range of aromas bring you back to the glass for more. Revealing a silky texture and a wonderfully ripe mouthfeel, this slowly unveils smoked meat, black tea, milk chocolate covered cherry and roasted fig flavors. Decadent, layered and downright delicious, this beautiful wine will enjoy an exceedingly long life in the cellar. Drink 20-9-2033- 95 — 5 years ago

This bottle haven been open for 24 hours was showing better than my last encounter a few weeks ago.
Light on its feet and without weight/density on the palate (due to 13.2% alc?) this has the elegant fruity/floral notes I adore in a pool-side quaffer or a light food wine.
It reminded me of Carlisle...which is a BIG compliment. — 7 years ago
