Very nice. First time having this grape, which apparently comes from a small part of Piedmont on the Lombardy border. Almost like a dry intense Riesling - petrol and acid - but a bit more floral. Would want more. — 7 years ago

The wine I have opened was the 2016 Pier Carlo Bergadano Langhe Nebbiolo.
On the nose there is quite distinctive notes of cherry, strawberry, licorice, gaminess, mushroom, herbs, leather and earth.
On the palate is cherry, plum, raspberry, anise, game, clay pot, leather, oak and earth.
This wine is full bodied grippy mouthfeel, medium + acidity with medium + to high fine grainy tannins leading to a long red fruit earthy finish. I hope everyone is healthy and well? Please stay safe and the weekend is just around the corner. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 years ago
