Ha! We are going for Barnett Vineyard's harvest event on Sept. 9th. Not sure if you knew, but I had proposed to Jenni right after our Far Niente Tour near the fountain/gazebo area! This next trip we plan on visiting Lail Vineyards, Château Boswell, Revana, and Moone-Tsai again. You definitely need to do a tour/tasting at Barnett Vineyards, Chappellet, and Moone-Tsai. @Andrew Parker Felix

A lovely showing. Last sip best sip. Was shy at first and then showed candy corn, salted almond, a hidden tartness and kind of sea breeze and mineral notes. A distant banana cream kinda thing too. That wonderful combo of fruity. Piquets met with dark fruit yet dry on the pallet. Delightful blend when a straight can might bear heavily and a Merlot or Pinot might not quite stand up... warmed up beautifully with new flavors opening up and a subtle but lingering end note. We enjoyed with rich seafood and Augustine sides. Wish I could say how it was the second night, but for this one, there was. I second night! — 8 years ago
