Excellent nero d'avola. Bought in Astoria from a wine tasting. — 9 years ago
First impression is not snappy and fruity as i saw from co-tasters on this website. There is fruit yes but also very powerful black tea leave notes. So i leave it to you to figure out the fruit. Blackberry anyone? Hint of smokey-ness? Drinking this at the bridge water bistro Astoria a great place! Recommended by the local wine store. The wine cellar on 10th; Teela. A great! Recommendation! Bitter orange on the back palate. Complex and long. Bitter. Nice balance of acid/tannins. Only 200 cases made. Very Burgundian with an Oregonian twist Bravo! — 9 years ago
Tried Galie versione but this is much and much better. Very Good.

Subtly Sweet and super bubbly. Not as sweet as some champagne. Very drinkable. Low hangover potential. Thanksgiving 2015 — 10 years ago
Outstanding for the price, solid af, matching well with this Greek food in Astoria — 7 years ago
Black cherries, black raspberries - medium to light body, quite restrained. Not a particularly long finish, but very solid. For $10, this was exceptional value. Astoria wine shop find! — 8 years ago
