Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay 2014

Candied (but barely) lemon is a fair tasting note. It still has that puckering acidity that is so distinctive

Drank side by side w the Ceritas TG ‘14. Nose was quite similar on both but they diverge on the palate

Wonderful high acid and refreshing. No tropical fruit here. A light nuttiness. Some of my favorite whites being made in CA today. — 10 years ago

Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Explosive Howell Mountain juice. Make no mistake this wine is big and warrants respect. Dark chocolate and cherries on the nose. Even the smallest sip fils the mouth. Incredible structure and big tannins. Inky, dark and mysterious at times....as it sits and opens up this gets bigger and richer. Just brilliant. — 7 years ago

This is all about balance and transparency. Wonderful aromatics. What you smell is what you get, cherries, earth , minerals and cola. My only bottle , very curious how this bottle would have evolved. — 6 years ago

@Joe Davant I look forward to it , thanks. BTW I believe 2012 was the last (and maybe only) time they bottled it. Perhaps someone with a better knowledge base can chime in.
